Eric Lee Kotchavar, age 35, lifelong Wellington resident, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

Eric Lee Kotchavar was born on January 25, 1977 in Wellington, KS to John Ray Kotchavar and Hettie Ann Kotchavar Ferguson.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Mary Kotchavar; grandfather, Ivan Ferguson; and aunt, Hellen Ferguson.

Survivors include his children, Derrick Kotchavar, Colten Ferguson, Ariel Kotchavar of Wellington, KS and Evangeline Baumgardner of Wichita, KS; father, John Kotchavar of Wellington, KS; mother, Hettie Ferguson of Wellington, KS; sister, Kristen Kotchavar of Wellington, KS; grandmother, Walburga Ferguson of Wellington, KS; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Michael Wolff will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Osborne Cemetery in Mayfield, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the Eric Kotchavar Children’s Education Fund in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
