Adam Wesley Bennett, 25, lifelong Wellington resident, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 4, 2017.
Adam was born on September 17, 1992 in Wellington, KS to Wesley L. Bennett and Eloisa L. (Abasolo) Bennett. He was a graduate of Wellington High School with the Class of 2011.
Adam loved music and was an active member of Wellington's band as a drummer. He was active in sports, especially baseball. Most of all, Adam enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Survivors include his parents, Wesley and Eloisa Bennett of Wellington, KS; companion, Abby Henderson of Wellington; brothers, David Eagle and his wife Brandy of Wichita, Justin Eagle of Wellington, and Mitchell Bennett and his wife Deb of Maize; sisters, Michelle Mott and her husband Mark of Wichita and Michaelyn Esslinger and her husband Mike of Mulvane; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rosary will be held at St. Anthony/St. Rose Catholic Church at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 8, 2017.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony's/St. Rose Catholic Church. Father Pham Hung will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Wellington Baseball. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
