Addie Mae Hiatt, age 97, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Monday evening, September 23, 2019 at The Renaissance of Stillwater in Stillwater, OK. Addie had been a Wellington resident for most of her adult life.

Addie Mae (Riecker) Hiatt was born on April 6, 1922 on the family farm near Capron, OK to Christian William Riecker and Emma Bertha (Erdmann) Riecker.

She married Edwin C. Hiatt on March 31, 1940 in Mooreland, OK. He preceded her in death in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin; three sons, Edwin, Stanley, and Robert; and four sisters and their husbands.

Survivors include her son, Elbert "Butch" Hiatt and his wife Wilma of Stillwater, OK; daughter-in-law, Sue Hiatt of Wichita, KS; one sister, Emma Jean Hullett of Hutchinson, KS; six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington on Friday afternoon, September 27, 2019 at 2:30 P.M. Pastor Michael Ridgway will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the Wellington First United Methodist Church. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
