Barbara "Sue" Lindberg, age 76, homemaker and long time Wellington resident, passed away at Sumner Regional Medical Center on Friday, October 19, 2007. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Barbara "Sue" (Kimsey) Lindberg was born on February 7, 1931 at Arkansas City, KS to Albert E. Kimsey and Pearl I. (Rodman) Kimsey.

She married Charles A. Lindberg on February 7, 1980 in Wellington, KS. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2004.

Sue enjoyed crafting and was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters, her family was her greatest love and she enjoyed spending time with them. She was also a member at the Immanuel Baptist Church.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, two infant sisters, her husband Charles, son Jerry, sister Jean Smaller and son-in-law Terry Hull.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Todd of Wichita, KS and Beanie McGlothlin of Augusta, KS and daughter-in-law, Janet Schuchman of Wellington, KS; one step-son, Charles Lindberg III of Austin, TX; three brothers, Vernon Kimsey of Medicine Lodge, KS, A. E. Kimsey, Jr. of Arkansas City, KS, and Don Kimsey of Winfield, KS; four sisters, Bette Heimer of Winfield, KS, Maxine Barrett of Shawnee, KS, June Mavity of Arkansas City, KS and Margaret Laingor of Arkansas City, KS; eight grandchildren, Susan, Dan, Jennifer, Julie, Chris, Kimber, Michael and Kortni; and ten great grandchildren, Madi, Nick, Peter, Michael, Micah, Keadin, Elli, John Paul, Catherine and Marilee.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS. Pastor Jeremy Jacob and Don Kimsey will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 22, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Family will greet friends from 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with Immanuel Baptist Church. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
