Barbara Jean (Daniels) Stonehocker, age 85, died April 2, 2020 at Botkin Care and Rehab in Wellington, KS.

She was born on April 6, 1934 in Wellington, KS to Estus Cecil "Jack" and Pauline (McDonald) Daniels.

She was a 1952 graduate of Wellington High School receiving her LPN license in 1979, working in various nursing homes both in Wichita and Wellington.

She married Roy Stonehocker, Jr., in Newkirk, OK on October 5, 1953.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Virginia Jacobs and Helen Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Dennis) Frick of Garden City, KS and son, Jack Stonehocker of Wellington; sister, Betty Ramsey of Grove, OK; brother Larry (Gloria) Daniels of Cheyenne, WY; five grandchildren, Chad Frick, Stacey Kennedy, Travis Stonehocker, Cheyenne Stonehocker, and Trevor Stonehocker; and five great grandchildren.

A Private Family Graveside Service and burial will be held at a later date.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established with Wellington Church of the Nazarene in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
