Obituary

Beaudacious Burnout a.k.a. Robert E. Hiatt, age 58, formerly of Wellington, KS passed away on December 1, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was a retired machinist and tool maker.

Beaudacious Burnout a.k.a. Robert E. Hiatt was born on November 14, 1948 in Wellington, KS to Edwin C. and Addie M. (Riecker) Hiatt. He was raised in Wellington and was a 1966 WHS graduate. He also attended K-State for three years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Stanley.

Survivors include his wife Joanie C. Burnout of Wichita, KS; mother Addie Hiatt of Wellington, KS; three daughters Tracy Grice, Cory Yeager and Rachel Hiatt; four step-daughters Sandra Stubor, Carla Fmolinski, Patricia Grife, and Lorie Jones; two brothers Elbert (Butch) Hiatt and his wife Carolyn of Ponca City, OK and Ed Hiatt and his wife Sue of Wichita, KS; six grandchildren and 13 step-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Wellington, KS with the Reverend Brent Clayton officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington.

A memorial has been established in his name with the First United Methodist Church. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.
