Bessie R. Supon, age 87, of Wellington, KS, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Sunday morning, May 31, 2015 at Spring View Manor in Conway Springs, KS. She was a retired employee of Wal-Mart and also worked at Locke's Mens and Boys Wear in Wellington.

Bessie R. (Corzine) Supon was born on February 19, 1928 in Caldwell, KS to James T. Corzine and Mary A. (Ransford) Corzine.

Bessie married Robert E. Supon on May 20, 1946 in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death in 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and one sister, Iva Scates.

Survivors include her four children, Robert Supon and his wife Janice of Topeka, KS, Jim Supon and his wife Lisa and Ted Supon and his wife Kay both of Wellington, KS, Cherie Williams and her husband Gregg of Wichita, KS; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Phil Wylie will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association of Kansas. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
