Robert "Bobby" Nelson, age 85, passed away Tuesday evening, March 31, 2020 at Botkin Care & Rehab in Wellington, KS.

Robert "Bobby" Nelson was born on December 15, 1934 in Wellington, KS to Theodore Nelson and Viola (Haskins) Nelson.

Bobby married Amy Ethel Atwood on April 20, 1953 in Wellington, KS. She preceded him in death in 1972.

Bobby worked for the City of Wellington and was also a self employed tree trimmer.

Survivors include his children, Francis, Chris, Mark, Kelly, Judy, Cheryl, Naomi, step-daughter, Kathy; sisters, Alice and Carolyn; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established with Botkin Health & Rehab. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
