Charlene E. Hunt, age 89, was called home on July 29, 2006. She had been a resident of Wellington for many years before moving to Forsyth, MO to live close to her son.

Charlene was born on November 11, 1916 in Peck, KS to Jesse Arthur and Florence (Sylvester) Moyer.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Richard Harding and Merlin Hunt, brother Dean Moyer, sister Thelma McMillin, step-daughter Iris June Foulk, and grand daughter Misty Dawn Atwood.

Charlene is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Pat (Harding) and Robert Brill of Wichita, KS and a son and daughter-in-law Eugene and Ruby Atwood of Forsyth, MO; grandchildren Ron and LaDena Brill of Wellington, KS, Randy and Brenda Brill of Wichita, KS, Ron and Vickie Smith of Independence, MO, Richard and Katie Atwood of Columbia, TN, Terry Atwood of Independence, MO, James Atwood of Independence, MO; Sherrie McGuire of Forsyth, MO, Mike and Susan McGuire of Forsyth, MO, and Terry Lee and Pam McGuire of Hemet, CA; 20 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Dane Massey will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society and also with Community Hospice of America in Branson, MO. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 4, 2006 from 1:00 – 9:00 P.M. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
