Obituary
Charles Allen Higgins, age 64, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 in South Haven, KS. He was a retired machinist at Tect Aerospace in Wellington.
Charles Allen Higgins was born on June 18, 1947 in El Dorado, KS to Charles E. Higgins and Lela Ruth (Mayes) Higgins. He was a Wellington High School graduate with the Class of 1965.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children, Michael Joseph of Indiana, Robert Griffin of Kentucky, and Judy Joseph of Kansas; two brothers, Hugh Higgins and his wife Linda and Joe Higgins both of Wellington, KS; four sisters, Ramona Cooley of Washington state, Donna Jean of Nevada, Charlene Green of West Tawakoni, TX, and Katharine Myers and her husband Charles of Wichita, KS; and several grandchildren.
Memorial Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. Pastor Earl Brown will officiate.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
