Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Howard Seal, age 69, passed away Monday afternoon, July 6, 2020 at William Newton Memorial Hospital in Winfield, KS. He was a brakeman for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He retired in 2010 with over 40 years of service.

Chuck was born on August 15, 1950 in Wichita, KS to Howard H. Seal and Cora Isabel (Blake) Seal. He was a 1968 graduate of Wellington High School.

Chuck and Carole were married on January 7, 1993 in Wellington, KS.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid golfer. He loved reading, fishing, gambling, and all animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Andy Seal; and brother, Darwin Seal.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Seal of Wellington; four sons, Shane Seal and his wife Carissa, Toby Seal and his wife Nikki, Shon Baker, and Brett Baker and his wife Andrea; one sister, Kathryn "Darlene" Panter; six grandchildren; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; two nieces; and three nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at a later date.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A memorial has been established with the Avenue of Flags in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
