Charles William "Billy" Fry, 38, resident of Wellington, passed away Friday December 20, 2019 at Sumner Community Hospital, after a lifelong battle with diabetes and recently with kidney failure.

Billy was born June 15, 1981 in Wellington, to Charles "Chuck" and Deborah (Washburn) Fry.

Survivors include his children, whom he dearly loved, Cody Delancey, 13, and Samantha Fry, 12, both of the home; mother, Debbie Fry of Wellington; sisters Tracie (David) Clark of Wellington, KS, and Allison (Cliffton) McLain, South Haven, KS; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; best friends Christopher and Tyson Johnson; along with many many friends. He knew no stranger.

He is preceded in death by his father, Chuck; infant son Charles Scott; grandparents, Richard Washburn, Merita Hutchison; and Charlie and Dolleen Fry.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Raymond Frye Complex at 3:00 P.M. with Kenny Ault officiating.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A private interment ceremony will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to those who donated to Billy's kidney transplant fund. That money is being used to offset his funeral expenses.

A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
