Christopher "Chris" Allan Cooley, age 61, of Iola, KS passed away June 29, 2022 at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, KS.

Chris was born on April 27, 1961 in Wellington, KS to Vernon F. Cooley, Jr. and Alta M. (Frederick) Cooley-DeVore.

Chris enjoyed going to Branson, MO.  He enjoyed listening to country music especially the Oak Ridge Boys, the Gatlin Brothers, and Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Cooley, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Alta M. Cooley-DeVore and step-father, Bill DeVore of Wichita, KS;  brother, Steven Cooley and his wife Sarah of Arlington, TX; nephew, Logan Cooley of Washington, DC; niece, Brooke Cooley of Arlington, TX; and the Staff of Tri-Valley Developmental Services in Iola, KS.

Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.  Pastor Bob Nusser will officiate.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
