Clarion Lee Creed, age 67, of Wellington, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 in Arkansas City, KS. He was a machinist for Lamar and Boeing and was also a life time farmer.

Clarion Lee Creed was born on December 9, 1950 in Winfield, KS to Holland M. Creed and Velma Evelyn (Finley) Creed. He was a graduate of Oxford High School. He served in the United States Army from February 11, 1970 – February 14, 1972 and was a Viet Nam Veteran.

He married Bonnie K. Teter on February 28, 1972 in Winfield, KS.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Velma Creed and an infant son.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Creed of Wellington, KS; daughter, Tammy Dye and her husband Marcus of Arkansas City, KS; father, Holland Creed of Wellington, KS; brothers, Clinton Creed and his wife Janice of Haysville, KS, Carson Creed and his wife Sandy of Blackwell, OK, Cedric Creed of Plains, KS; sisters, Carolyn Lydick and her husband Darrell of El Dorado, KS and Cecelia Baker and her husband Larry of Enid, OK; three grandchildren, Cheyenne Bailey and her husband Joshua, Sable Dye and Mason Dye all of Arkansas City, KS; and two great grandchildren, Braxtyn and Jayde Bailey of Arkansas City, KS.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, 1208 N. College Street, Winfield, KS.

Cremation has taken place. The family will be present to greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
