Clark Allen Harris, age 56, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home in Wellington, KS. He was a lifelong resident of Wellington and a carpenter.
Clark was born on August 16, 1956 in Wellington, KS to Charles R. Harris and Louise E. (Slack) Harris.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise; sisters, Debbie Pilens and Barbara Ann Harris; and brother, David Wayne Harris.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Harris of Wellington; son, Jeremy Harris and his wife Mandi of Oxford, KS; daughters, Heather Kimball of Wellington, Holly Vargas and her husband Lonnie of Wellington, and Stephanie Warnock and her husband Wes of Wellington; step-children, Tiffany Hayes and her husband Rick of Oxford, KS, Krista Gregson and her husband Joel of Columbia, MO, and Phillip Fellers of Wellington; father, Charles Harris of Wellington; sister, Vickie Mertes and her husband Bill of Wellington; uncle and best friend, Bill Harris of Wellington; 22 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First Free Will Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. Pastor Zane Brooks will officiate.
The family will greet friends at the First Free Will Baptist Church on Monday, May 6, 2013, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
A memorial has been established in his name with the American Cancer Society. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
