Clifford J. Smith, age 81, of Wellington, passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS on October 13, 2008.
Clifford J. Smith was born November 25, 1926 to R. Alfred Smith and Eva E. (Wiggins) Smith in Cedarvale, KS.
Clifford served in the U.S. Air Force from 1947-1952. He graduated with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in English from Wichita State University. He taught English for 30 years at Argonia High School.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George Smith and one sister, Pat Moore.
He is survived by one brother, Alfred Smith of Scottsdale, AZ and one niece, Rika Lemire of Andover, KS.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
