Clint R. Whaley, age 60, long time resident of Caldwell, KS, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his home.

Clint was born on April 26, 1956 in Wellington, KS to Ed Lincoln Whaley and Billie June (Ray) Whaley.

Clint married Wanda Sue Ginn on July 3, 1975 in Corbin, KS.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, trapping, fishing, building furniture with Wanda, and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father, E. L. Whaley and son-in-law, George Berline.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Wanda Whaley of Caldwell; KS; son, Jacob Whaley and his wife Julie of Harper, KS; daughters, Codi Schale and her husband Nick of Leavenworth, KS and Kyane Berline and Chad May of Corbin, KS; mother, Billie Whaley of Perth, KS; brother, Albert Whaley and his wife Carol of Perth, KS; sister, Frances Whaley of Perth, KS; and eight grandchildren, Jessica, Elizabeth, Ivy, Ezra, Eden, Reagan, Anthony, and Capri.

Funeral Services will be held at the Corbin Methodist Church in Corbin, KS on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow the service at the Bethany Cemetery in Perth, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.

Memorials have been established with Rivercross Hospice and Caldwell Care Network in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
