Dale Wayne Church, Jr., age 84, lifelong Sumner County resident, passed away at his home on Friday, July 8, 2022.  He was a farmer and worked for the BNSF Railroad for over 30 years.

Dale was born on June 25, 1938 in Wellington, KS to Dale Weedman Church and Anna Coelene (Ditmore) Church.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son, Ronald Church and his wife Brenda of Wellington; brother, Larry "Joe" Church of Wellington; sister, Judy K. Beat and her husband LeRoy of Wichita; one grandson, Connor Church of Wellington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Rose Hill  Cemetery in South Haven, KS.  Pastor Zane Brooks will officiate.

In honoring Dale's wishes there will be no visitation.

A Memorial has been established with the Wellington Humane Society in lieu of flowers.  Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
