Darlene R. Means, age 66, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, KS. She was a retired homemaker and was a resident of Beverly Health Care in Wellington.
Darlene was born on December 19, 1939 in Coffeyville, KS to Orton K. Wise and Maxine O. (Joseph) Wise.
She married Royal W. Means on December 7, 1957 in Augusta, KS. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2005.
Survivors include her daughter, Hope Wanek and her husband Ron of Mulvane, KS and one grandson.
Private family graveside services will be held at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington, KS.
A memorial has been established in her name with the American Diabetes Association. Contributions can be left or mailed to the Funeral Home.
