David Allen Berry, age 66, lifelong Wellington resident, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home in Wellington. He was a machinist and worked at several aircraft plants in our area before he retired.

David A. Berry was born on November 25, 1953 in Wellington, KS to James David Berry and Olwyn (Dykeman) Berry. He attended school in Wellington and graduated with the WHS Class of 1971.

Dave was an avid bowler. He bowled 26 games of 300, 11 800 series, 14 games of 299, and 5 games of 298. He loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. D. Berry and Olwyn (Dykeman) Berry and cousin, Carla Dykeman.

Survivors include his uncle, Arlyss Dykeman of Cleora, OK; cousins, Rita Carroll and husband David of Wellington, KS, Daryl Dykeman and his wife Ann of Tampa, FL, Doyce Toles of Grand Junction, CO, Robert Toles of Cortez, CO, James Toles of Oklahoma City, OK, Chris Carroll and his wife Betsy of Ponca City, OK, and friend, Rosie Ball of Wichita, KS.

In honoring Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established with the American Legion Post #90 in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
