David "Alton" Reusser, age 103, passed away, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at his home in Wellington, KS. Alton farmed near Wellington for 48 years before retiring and moving to town in 1989.

David Alton Reusser was born on December 27, 1907 in Beaver County, OK to David A. Reusser and Emma J. (Stucky) Reusser.

Alton married Evelyne M. Dyer on March 11, 1934 at her parent's home near Clearwater, KS.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife of 76 years, Evelyne of Wellington, KS; son, David Reusser and his wife Anne of Wellington, KS; three daughters, Marilyn Schalk of Wellington, KS, Marcia Childers and her husband Robert of Arkansas City, KS and Judy London of Leander, TX; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Wellington, KS. Pastor Jan McDaniel will officiate. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. at the Clearwater Cemetery, Clearwater, KS.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 1:00-8:00 P.M. at Frank Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established with the First United Methodist Church. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
