Dianne Wagoner, age 70, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at Sumner Regional Medical Center on Tuesday morning, April 21, 2009. She was a retired inspector for BAE Systems.
Dianne (Burson) Wagoner was born on November 7, 1938 in Stanford, TX to Ray E. Burson and Frances (Jones) Burson.
Dianne Burson married Wayne Wagoner on April 14, 1956 in Newkirk, OK. They had recently celebrated 53 years of marriage.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, attending all sporting events for her children and grandchildren through the years, flea markets, and an occasional trip to the casino.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Glenn Haines; and sister-in-law, Kay Burson.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Wellington, KS; sons, Robert Wagoner and John Wagoner of Wellington, KS, Scott Wagoner of Oklahoma City, OK and stepson, Kenny Wagoner and his wife Julie of Little Rock, AR; daughters, Debbie Haines and Karen Amrein and her husband Ed of Wellington, KS; brother, Rex Burson of Granbury, TX; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Frank Funeral Home. Chaplain Dan Floyd will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery at Wellington, KS.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 1:00 – 9:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers with the Sumner Regional Medical Center Out-patient Clinic. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
