Dona Laura (Carmicheal) Pounds died June 19, 2021.

She was born August 31, 1936 in Vincennes, IN to Art and Netta (Fredrick) Carmicheal a year to the day they were married.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Pounds; son, Britton Pounds; grandsons, Dusty Pounds, and Jake and Andrew Pounds.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Evans (Jerry) of Oxford, KS, Karen Dillard (Lynn) of Henrietta, TX, Pat Gordon (Joe) of Portales, NM, Brenda Cook (Bobby) of South Haven, KS, daughter-in-law, Eleanor Pounds of South Haven, KS; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brothers, Bud Carmicheal of Crocket, TX, Bob Carmicheal (Missy) of South Haven, KS, and Weldon Carmicheal of South Haven, KS; and nephew, Shawn Carmicheal of Texas.

She loved her birds, reading J. R. Ward, Christine Feehan, and Sherrilyn Kenyon, crocheting, and many other crafts.
