Donald L. Favinger, age 84, of Wellinton, passed away Sunday morning, November 30, 2014 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Don had worked in the oil fields most of his life as a Rig Supervior.

Donald was born on May 1, 1930 in Morland, KS to Abraham L. Favinger and Eva M. (Swisher) Favinger.

He married Ramona K. Geubelle in Wellington, KS on July 18, 1987 at the First United Methodist Church.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bevan Favinger; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Favinger of Wellington; sons, Terry Favinger and his wife Roberta of Wilson, KS and Arlen Favinger of Oklahoma; one sister, Pat Edwards of Lecompton, KS; sister-in-law, Margaret Schultz of Wellington; several grandchildren, including Sarah, Amy, Colton, and Sammie; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive and greet friends from 12:30 until service time. Pastor Dan Floyd will officiate.
