Donna K. Miller, age 83, passed away August 27, 2022 at her home in Wellington.

Donna K. (Smith) Miller was born on December 15, 1938 in El Dorado, KS to Adrian E. Smith and Beatrice B. (Bailey) Smith.  She was raised in Wellington and graduated from Wellington High School in 1956.

She married Rex McKinney on May 26, 1968 in Newkirk, OK.  He preceded her in death in 1995.

Donna was active in the VFW Auxiliary and was also a volunteer and donated much of her time to the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex McKinney; son, David McKinney in 1986; and two brothers, Duane and Philip Smith.

She is survived by her two children; Randall McKinney and his wife Brenda of Cullman, AL and Valmarie Wood and her husband David of Arkansas City, KS; three grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.  Chaplain H. C. Pennel of Interim Hospice will officiate.

A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.  Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
