Donna Maurine Yeager, age 74, passed away Saturday evening, September 15, 2012 at the Life Care Center of Wichita in Wichita, KS.
Donna Maurine (Byers) Yeager was born on August 24, 1938 in Arkansas City, KS to Wesley and Maurine (Boyle) Byers. Donna was raised in Wellington and graduated from Wellington High School. She had been a resident of Wichita for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorene Sandell; and one niece, Dona Paxson.
Survivors include her son, Brett Ruggles and his wife Cynthia of Andover, KS; one brother, Irvin Byers and his wife Sue of Wellington, KS; and two grandchildren, Colton and Cheyene Ruggles of Andover, KS.
Funeral Services will be held at Frank Funeral Home in Wellington, KS on September 20, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Bob Gleason will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 20, 2012 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.
A memorial has been established with the Arthritis Foundation. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
