Doris P. Aubert, age 82, of Wellington, KS, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Diversicare in Haysville, KS.  Through the years she worked as a riveter for Cessna Aircraft and as a machinist for Oxwell, Inc.

Doris P. (Bowman) Aubert was a triplet born on July 17, 1938 to Leonard Bowman, Sr. and Blanche (Clinkingbeard) Bowman in Little Rock, AR.

She married Delbert Duane Aubert on May 15, 1961 in Newkirk, OK.  Delbert and Doris moved from Arkansas City, KS to Wellington in 1965.

She was a member of T.O.P.S. and was baptized at the Salvation Army Church in Arkansas City, KS.  She enjoyed crafting and plastic canvas.  She also bowled for many years on a league in Arkansas City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Justin Wade Aubert; and brother, Leonard Bowman, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Delbert D. Aubert of Wellington, KS; son, Leonard Duane Aubert of Spring Valley, CA, son, Royal Clifton Fearnow of Wetumka, OK, one brother, George Bowman and one sister, Lois Barkley both of Arkansas City, KS; seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City, KS.  Chaplain Rose Cook-Rose will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 1:00 - 7:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.  Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
