Dorothy L. Crisler, age 94, Wellington resident, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Wellington Health & Rehab in Wellington.  Dorothy was a farmer along with her husband, Bill.

Dorothy L. (Valdois) Crisler was born on July 1, 1928 in Rome, KS to Louis W. Valdois and Jenne F. (Winchell) Valdois.

She married Billy Glenn Crisler on September 1, 1948.

She enjoyed traveling with her two companions, Ella Mae Watson and Dorothy Wyckoff Richardson.  She liked bowling and running the family farm with the help of Mike Horsch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Glenn Crisler in 1989; and brother, Gene.

Survivors include her three children, Kent Crisler and his wife Jeanette of Wichita, James Crisler and his wife Stephanie of Wichita, and Sandy Albin and her husband Randy of Wellington; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. the Church of Christ.  Interment will follow the service at Bethany Cemetery in Perth, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M.  The family will be present to greet friends from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M.

Memorials have been established with the Church of Christ and Carpenter Place in lieu of flowers.  Memorials can be mailed to or left at the funeral home.
