Obituary
Dorothy Evelyn Miller, age 96, passed away Thursday morning, December 9, 2010, at Sterling House in Wellington, KS.
Dorothy Evelyn (Ward) Miller was born on August 25, 1914 in Belle Plaine, IA to Samuel P. Ward and Hattie (Freeman) Ward.
On August 27, 1932 she married Elza Franklin Miller in Nevada, IA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elza F. Miller; one son, Richard Miller; one grandson, Richard Hatfield; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Hatfield and her husband Ronald of Belle Plaine, KS and Louise Lowrey of Cabot, AR; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
