Dwaine M. Reheard, departed this life, November 5, 2011.

Dwaine M. Reheard was born on October 19, 1923. He and his father owned Reheard & Son Cabinet Works. He was a Quality Control Inspector Lead at Boeing and retired after 30 plus years.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Aordine Reheard; father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Etta Palmer, Sr.; sisters, Nadine Sheck and Gladys Osborne; brothers-in-law Brig. Gen. Raymond (Bula) Palmer, Roy Palmer, Jr.; sister-in-law Roberta Palmer; one granddaughter, one great grandson, one niece; and four nephews.

Dwaine met his wife, Henrietta, in grade school and they married August 1, 1942. Dwaine was a loving and devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed by his family.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Henrietta; daughters, Crystal Charles and Kim Sundry; one grandson, three granddaughters, sister-in-laws, Viola Palmer, Violet Rowan and Evelyn Palmer; two great grandsons, two great granddaughters; six nephews; six nieces; and many great nephews and great nieces.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the Wellington Humane Society, P. O. Box 494, Wellington, KS 67152. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.

A private family burial will be held. There are no services scheduled.
