Obituary

Earl Norman Trost, age 95, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 11, 2012 at his home in Wichita, KS. He was a retired rural mail carrier in the South Haven, KS area and also served as the Post Master at the Hunnewell, KS Post Office.

Earl Norman Trost was born on December 7, 1916 in rural Hunnewell, KS to Ernest C. Trost and Vernia L. (Lockwood) Trost. He was a graduate of South Haven High School.

Earl married Mabel Marie Clark on March 28, 1951 in Bentonville, AR. She preceded him in death on November 3, 1978.

Survivors include her daughter, Juanita Smith of Wichita; sisters, Hazel Bowman of Wellington and Julia Heuszel of Great Bend, KS; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Frank Funeral Home on January 14, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Brother Marrell Cornwell will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

A memorial has been established with the Parkinson Foundation. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
