Eldon Leroy Gould, age 69, of Wellington, KS, passed away April 1, 2019 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. He was the former President of Metal Forming, Inc. in Belle Plaine, KS. He retired in 2012.

Eldon was born on April 10, 1949 in Nashville, KS to Virgil Gould and Dorothy (Withers) Gould. Eldon was raised in the Pratt, KS area and graduated from Pratt High School in 1967.

He married Deanne Marie Dugan on December 6, 1974 in Wichita, KS.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and riding Harley motorcycles with his wife, Joe, Claire and Harold. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed shooting sporting clays.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Roger Gould.

Survivors include his wife, Deanne Gould of Wellington; sons, Joshua Gould and his wife, Amber and Walter Gould and his fiancée, Jessica Viramontes both of Wellington; brother, Verlin Gould; sister, Rhonda Kelley; five grandchildren, Mitchell, Kyleigh, and Zachery Gould, Taryn and Mikayla Viramontes all of Wellington.

Funeral Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Wellington on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Andy Hargrove will officiate. Interment will follow the service at the Jordan Cemetery in rural Rome, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Memorials have been established with the American Heart Association and Whitetails Unlimited in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
