Obituary
Ellen Ruth Schwantes, age 59, passed away at Slate Creek Deseret Nursing Home on Tuesday evening, June 30, 2009. She was a homemaker and a long time Wellington resident.
Ellen Ruth (Adamson) Schwantes was born on December 26, 1949 in Oklahoma City, OK to Raymond H. Adamson and Marjorie E. (Bailey) Adamson. She attended schools in Wellington and was a 1969 WHS graduate.
She enjoyed reading, music, and playing games. She was a member of Grace Baptist Fellowship Church and the P.S. Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her three brothers, Jim Adamson of Wellington, KS, David Adamson of Chicopee, MA , and Rick Adamson of Texas; uncle and aunt, Willard and Ruth Bailey of Wellington, KS.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Grace Baptist Fellowship Church. Pastor Bob Nickel will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted the arrangements.
