Emily N. McBride, age 94, of Conway Springs, passed away Friday morning, September 13, 2019 at Spring View Manor in Conway Springs, KS. She worked as a Nurse Aide at the Wellington Hospital for many years.

Emily was born to Antonio Albano and Laura (Cresenzo) Albano on February 4, 1925. She was raised and educated in West Springfield, MA. She lived in the Anson and Conway Springs area most of her adult life.

She married her first husband Gerard Rodrigue. After he passed away she then married Charles E. "Elmer" McBride on March 26, 1969 in Springfield, MA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gerard Rodrigue; her second husband, Charles E. "Elmer" McBride on January 7, 2003; two daughters, Denise Armstead and Corrinne Boyles; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include five grandchildren, Jon Armstead and his wife Ruthie of Smyra, TN, Andrea Brown and her husband Danny of Greenville, S.C., Keith Boyles and his wife Kim of Belle Plaine, KS, Nick Boyles and his wife Diane of Mayfield, KS; Tracy Dalbom and her husband Jeff of Conway Springs, KS; 11 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Chaplain Layton Hein will officiate.  Interment will follow the service at the Austin Cemetery in Anson, KS.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
