Ernest R. McComb, age 86, of Wellington, KS, passed away on January 17, 2022 at his home in Wellington, Kansas.  He was a retired clerk for Santa Fe Railroad.

Ernest R. McComb was born on September 15, 1935 to Hershel L. McComb and Hannah J.  (Whitney) McComb in Wellington, KS.  He served in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Steven & Jerry McComb; and an infant sister, Mabel Nadine McComb.

He is survived by his wife, Jean McComb of the home ; son, David McComb; daughter, Nancy McComb both of Wellington, KS; two sisters, Gaylean Haskin of Wellington, KS and Norma Tisher and her husband Kenneth of Sand Spring, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time.
