Eureus J. "E.J." Ford, age 81, of Wellington, KS, passed away at home early Friday morning, November 14, 2014. He was a retired Inspection Records Supervisor for Boeing. He served three years in the United States Army.

Eureus J. "E.J." Ford was born on May 12, 1933 in Rogers, AR to Eureus J. Ford, Sr. and Cleta Mae (Landers) Ford.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Molly Ford; brother, Billy Don Ford; and his sister, Catherine Robert.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Katheryn F. Ford of the home; daughter, Pamela K. Strader and her husband Russell, sons, Eddie J. Ford and his wife Kathy, Earl J. Ford and his wife Carla, and daughter, Kelly L. Owen and her husband Gary all of Wellington, KS; sister Lena Martin of Fairview, OK; and 13 grandchildren, Rev. Eric Strader and his wife Rev. Amy Strader of Golden, CO, Dr. Lindsay Strader of Springfield, IL, Matthew Brown of Wellington, KS, Kacie Brown and her fiancé Jacob St. John of Wichita, KS, Katie Ford, Tanner Ford, Eric Ford, Tyler Rusk and his fiancé Grace Larsen, Trevor Rusk and Ashley Schwandt all of Wellington, KS; and one great granddaughter, Nora Strader of Golden, CO.

A casual and informal gathering where the family will receive and greet friends at Frank Funeral Home, 417 N. Washington, Wellington, KS on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Memorial Graveside Services immediately following at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS. Pastor Dan Floyd will officiate.

A memorial has been established with Rivercross Hospice. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
