Obituary
Evelyn Pearl Brown, age 87, passed away September 21, 2007 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington. She was a homemaker.
Evelyn Pearl (Walker) Brown was born on February 18, 1920 in Wellington, KS to Leslie E. Walker and Bessie Lilian (Cowden) Walker. She attended Wellington schools and graduated with the WHS Class of 1938.
On December 28, 1940 she married Kenneth A. Brown in Englewood, CA. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2002.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Roberta; one brother, Eldon Walker; one son, Randy Brown; and her husband, Kenneth.
Survivors include one son, Kent Brown and his wife Connie of Wichita, KS; one daughter, LaNee Reyes and her husband Fernando of Wellington, KS; three grandchildren, Derek, Tiffany, and Christina; two great grandchildren, Sheadyn and Ian.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Reverend Brent Clayton of the First United Methodist Church will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
