Everett T. Hearlson, II, 61, of Wellington, passed away March 4, 2017 at his home. He worked for many years as a machinist for Richardson Machine Shop.
Everett was born on February 12, 1956 in Topeka, KS to Everett T. Hearlson, Sr. and June L. (Ingles) Hearlson. He was a 1974 graduate of Wellington High School. After high school, Everett served four years with the United States Army from November 1974 to November of 1979.
He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and going to gun shows. He loved his nieces and nephews. He was a very loving person and will be greatly missed.
Everett is predeceased in death by his father; brothers, Irvin Hearlson, Wayne Hearlson, and Gilbert Hearlson.
Survivors include his mother, June Hearlson of Wellington, KS; three brothers, Alan Hearlson and his wife Kim of Wellington, Alvin Hearlson and his wife Junell of Haysville, KS and Steve Ingels of Wellington; three sisters, Barbara Hearlson Smith and her husband Sid of Cedarvale, KS, Elaine Hearlson Talkington and her husband Ken of Emporia, KS, Beverly Hearlson Garcia and her husband John of Simi Valley, CA; and many nieces and nephews, including Nakia and Rachel Hearlson.
Military Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Dan Floyd will officiate.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A memorial has been established in his name with the Wellington Humane Society in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
