Obituary

Everett Allen Reedy, age 76, died Saturday, February 22, 2020.

He was the son of Everett Walter Reedy and his wife Minnie (Sarcoxie) Reedy. He was born March 5, 1943 in Bartlesville, OK. His mother was a full blooded Delaware Indian and he was proud of that heritage. He was the youngest of eight children and his siblings have all preceded him in death.

He married Marion White on June 5, 1961 in Bartlesville, OK, she preceded him in death.

He is survived by two daughters, Cristle Hays of Medford, OR and Kendle Ortiz of Muse, OK; two sons Everett Reedy of Medford, OR and Kenneth Reedy of Medford, OR; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

On October 23, 1970 he married Mary Jane Simon (Janie). She preceded him in death on April 22, 2010.

Everett was a highly regarded machinist at GKN Aerospace Precision Machining from August of 1971 to his retirement in 2018.

On November 26, 1983 he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Everett worked tirelessly on behalf of the local congregation. His kindness and generosity is deeply appreciated by the congregation. His keen sense of humor was appreciated by all. He was a man of few words but was always ready to help those that needed it. He loved being outdoors with God's creation when camping and fishing. He also enjoyed taking the long way home in search of a beautiful picture to take. Everett loved his family. One example of that love was him recording Bible stories in his own voice for his granddaughters.

He will be missed by all.
