Frances J. Ybarra, lifetime Wellington resident, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her home in Wellington, KS.

Frances J. (Reyes) Ybarra was born August 21, 1928 to Teofilo Reyes and Maria (Olivan) Reyes in Somerville, TX.

Frances married Joe Ybarra on October 5, 1946 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Wellington, KS. They celebrated 54 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on January 28, 2001.

Frances was a member of St. Anthony and St. Rose of Lima Parish.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; and two brothers, John and Tony Reyes.

She is survived by one son, Danny Ybarra of Denver, CO; one daughter, Vicky Freund and her husband Mike of Conway Springs, KS; two brothers, Ramon Reyes, Sr. and Henry Reyes both of Wellington, KS; one sister, Lucia Reyes of Wellington, KS; three grandchildren, Tony Ybarra and his wife Tracy, Jeff Freund and his wife Tish and Ric Freund and his wife Taryn; nine great grandchildren, Brittany, Nate and Joe, Jay, Trey, Cooper, Tristan, Luke and Brook; and one great great grandchild, Oliver Watters.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 9:00 – 4:00 P.M.

Rosary will be held at St. Anthony and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Wellington, KS on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 5:30 P.M.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Dwight Birket will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS.
