Pastor Frank M. DeFisher, age 70, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Harry Hynes Hospice Unit at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. He had been serving as Pastor at the Mayfield Federated Church in Mayfield, KS for the past four years.

Frank was born on August 5, 1942 in Rochester, NY to Arthur Morris DeFisher and Norma Ruth (Smith) DeFisher.

Frank married Pamela S. McCord on May 2, 1971 in El Dorado, KS.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kevin DeFisher; and two brothers, Robert and Geren Kessler.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela DeFisher of Mayfield, KS; one daughter, Angela DeFisher of St. Marys, KS; one sister, Doris Rubadeau and her husband George of Udall, KS; and one grandson, Jason DeFisher of Wathena, KS.

Memorial Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Wellington, KS on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. Rev. Dr. Linda Louderback will officiate.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

A memorial has been established with Grace Med in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
