Obituary
Gaylia Sue Dorsey, age 65, life long resident of Wellington, passed away Monday morning, August 29, 2011 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. She was a former Supervisor at BAE Systems.
Gaylia Sue (Tracy) Dorsey was born on May 28, 1946 in Wellington, KS to John Martin Tracy and Christina Maude (Willis) Tracy. She graduated with the WHS Class of 1964.
"Sue" married Charles William "Bill" Dorsey on October 29, 1966 in Wellington, KS. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1990.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; and one sister, Teresa Renee.
Survivors include her brother, John "B.J." Tracy and his wife April of Wellington; two sisters, Jean Tucker and her husband David of Bourbon, MO and Joyce Wilson of Battle Creek, MI; aunt, Tooter Rountree of Buffalo, MO; three nephews and five nieces.
Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association..Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
