Hazel L. Craig, age 93, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 11, 2007 at Riverview Manor in Oxford, KS. She had been a resident there for the past five years. She was a retired Secretary and Receptionist.

Hazel L. (Daniels) Craig was born on January 29, 1914 in Woodward, OK to Nathan Frank Daniels and Rebecca Worline (Batson) Daniels. She was the youngest of eight children. Hazel was raised in Wellington but spent most of her adult life in California before moving back to Wellington when her husband retired.

She married Amel T. Craig in Las Vegas, NV in April of 1948. He preceded her in death in 1982.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Amel; and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Brinkman and her husband Brian of Sedgwick, KS; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Riggins, Adam Fox, Vanessa Entrekin, Olivia Kennedy, Alexandra Fox, Todd Brinkman, Timothy Brinkman, Michael Brinkman, and Ursula Brinkman; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews including Barbara Stonehocker of Wellington, KS.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Frank Funeral Home. Reverend Brent Clayton of the First United Methodist Church will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 1:00 – 9:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with Riverview Manor in Oxford, KS. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.

She will be greatly missed by all her family.
