Hazel Rosazella (Harth) Wagoner, age 99, Sumner County resident since 1945, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 6, 2018 at her home in Wellington. She was a homemaker and a farmer.
Hazel was born on February 18, 1919 to Huebert William Harth and Fern Alice (Morland) Harth on the family farm in rural Alva, OK.
Hazel married Vernie Delbert Wagoner on November 15, 1935 in Alva, OK. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Hazel enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernie; infant son, Larry Eugene Wagoner; five brothers; two sisters; daughter-in-law, Dianne Wagoner; son-in-law, Marland Peterson; and nephew, Larry Eugene Wagoner.
Survivors include her four children, Harold Wayne Wagoner of Wellington, Eva Clair (Wagoner) Peterson of Wellington, Reta Mae (Wagoner) Wheeler and her husband Ron of Wellington, and Linda Jo (Wagoner) Pooler and her husband Jerry of Casa Grande, AZ; sister, Fayetta (Harth) Acord of Alva, OK; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; 36 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Pastor James Byers will officiate.
The family will greet friends after the service at the Christian Church Fellowship Hall from 1:30 - 2:30 P.M.
In honoring Hazel's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
