Henry Leroy "Butch" Weber, age 70, lifelong Milan, KS resident, passed away at his home on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was a retired diesel mechanic, farmer, and a bus driver and supervisor in Conway Springs, KS and Burr Oak, KS.
Butch was born on November 22, 1951 at Hatcher Hospital in Wellington, KS to George Elmer Weber and Betty Jo (Busch) Weber. He graduated from Conway Springs High School in 1971.
He married Elizabeth Sue Creed on July 7, 1979 at the First Baptist Church in Conway Springs, KS.
He was a longtime member of the Sumner County Fair Board and also a member of the First Baptist Church in Conway Springs for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth "Susie" Weber of Milan, KS; sons, Jonathan Weber and his wife Sara of Conway Springs, KS, Nathan Weber of Milan, KS; daughters, Mandy Weber of Conway Springs, KS, Holly Thrasher and her husband John of Stafford, KS, Katy Weber and her fiance Austin and Hannah Weber of Conway Springs, KS, and Mary Weber of Milan, KS; three grandchildren, Cheyenne Weber of Conway Springs, KS, Magdalena and Jacob Thrasher of Stafford, KS.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 1:00 – 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Conway Springs, KS on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. Pastor J. Young will officiate. Interment will follow the service at the Milan Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with the First Baptist Church and the Sumner County Fair Board in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
