Obituary

Henry Ernest Hallman, age 66, of South Haven, KS passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Sumner County Hospital District #1 in Caldwell, KS. Henry was a farmer and also owner of State Line Tavern.

Henry was born on July 17, 1947 in rural South Haven, KS to Franklin Hallman and Bertha May (Rush) Hallman. He was a 1965 graduate of South Haven High School.

Henry married Debra Jo Jenkins on October 17, 1970 in Wellington, KS.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Debra of South Haven, KS; two children, Daniel Brett Hallman and his wife Katrina of South Haven, KS and Sheila Marie (Hallman) O'Trimble and her husband Chad of Perry, KS; one brother, Kenny Hallman of Wellington, KS; two sisters, Kay Bigler and her husband Bob of Wellington, KS and Geri Debuhr of Greeen Valley, AZ; and seven grandchildren, Jordan and her husband Reese, Lane, Sydney, Derek, Darcie, Tanner, and Trista.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at the South Haven Community Building on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 3:00 P.M.

A memorial has been established with the South Haven Fair Association in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
