Jackie L. Howell, 76, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2016 in Rogers, MN.
Jack was born on March 7, 1940 to Wythal and Wanda Howell in Wellington, KS where he grew up with his brother Wayne, and graduated from high school. Soon after high school, Jack, moved to Kansas City where he served in the Army and later worked for International Harvester.
While in Kansas City, he met his wife, Jennifer, and had three sons. In 1979 Jack was transferred to Minnesota by International Harvester where he lived for the remainder of his life.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, Wythal; stepfather, Bill Spainhour; and nephew, Brent Howell.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Howell; three sons, Brian (Tricia), Michael, and Jason (Tami); mother, Wanda Howell Spainhour; brother, Wayne Howell (Vicki); five grandchildren, Maggie (9), Ava (8), Mason (6), Ella (5), and Mallori (2). Jack adored his grandchildren very much, and they loved to call him "Papa Jack." Jack had a passion for finding estate sale treasures and will be profoundly missed.
Memorial Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, KS on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:30 P.M.
Following the Graveside Service, family and friends are invited to gather at the V.F.W. for visiting and sharing memories.
