James A. Jenkins, age 73 of South Haven, KS, passed away February 26, 2019 at Botkin Care and Rehab in Wellington, KS. He was a retired machinist at Nickles Machine in Ponca City, OK after 27 years of service.
James was born on April 23, 1945 in Wetumka, OK to Thomas Clayton Jenkins and Ruby Inez (Storts) Jenkins. He graduated from South Haven High School in 1963.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors, hunting, shooting guns, target practicing, and working.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Jerry Jenkins.
Survivors include his two children, Gregory Jenkins of South Haven, KS and Marsha Epps and her husband Bruce of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, David Jenkins and his wife Pam of Stigler, OK; five sisters, Darla Finch of Blackwell, OK, Norma Marshall and her husband Larry of Wellington, KS, Debbie Hallman of Hunnewell, KS, Kathy Freeman of Broken Arrow, OK, and Paula Popplewell and her husband Greg of Blackwell, OK; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
There are no funeral services scheduled at this time.
