James G. "Jim" Kendrick, age 70, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2013 surrounded by his family at his home in Clearwater, KS. He was a salesman for Kice Industries for 25 years before he retired in 2008.

Jim was born on June 18, 1942 in Pueblo, Colorado to James W. Kendrick and Yvonne (Graddy) Kendrick

Jim married Doris D. Heasty on January 11, 1969 in Wichita, KS.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Kendrick of Clearwater, KS; two sons, Mark Kendrick and his wife Pam of Mayfield, KS and Mike Kendrick and his wife Krissi of Caldwell, KS; four grandchildren, Danielle, Danae, Derrick, and Trent Kendrick.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Westlink Church of Christ, 10025 W. Central Ave, Wichita, KS on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. Gary Richardson will officiate. There will be a private family interment at Union Chapel Cemetery in Mayfield, KS.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials have been established with Carpenter Place, Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, and Clearwater Fire and EMS in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
