Janet Sue (Morrison) Glick loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away
surrounded by family on May 31, 2023 at the age of 81 after a brief illness.
Janet retired in 2005 after spending 29 years as a bookkeeper at Impact Bank in
Wellington, KS. Her greatest joy in retirement was spending time with her family
and treasured friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vernita and Raymond Morrison and
her brother Roger (Doc) Morrison.
Janet is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 61 years Michael
Glick; son, Scott(Tracy) of Garland, TX; daughter, Molly (Les) Sowell of Garland,
TX; daughter, Shana (Mike) Watson of Pooler, GA; and her sister Lina Glick
(Frank) of Crested Butte, CO.
She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Cameron and Olivia Glick of
Garland, TX; Josh Sowell of Russellville, AR; Nick and Carson Sowell of Garland,
TX; Derek Watson of Sugar Hill, GA and Ian Watson of Kennesaw, GA.
At Janet's request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Her cremains will
be buried in Prairie Lawn Cemetery at a future date. In memory of Janet the
family requests no flowers and any donations be made in her name to a charity of
your choice.
